The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has started developing its strategy on Tajikistan for 2014-2018, which may also include a food safety project in addition to projects on energy, transport and the private sector, CA-News reports on Tuesday.
This issue was discussed during the meeting of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Permanent Representative of ADB, C.C.Yu on Tuesday in Dushanbe.
It was also highlighted that support of the private sector in Tajikistan and foreign direct investments are key areas of cooperation. Moreover, it was mentioned that there is a huge untapped potential for the development of successful cooperation between ADB and Tajikistan.
