More than 800,000 tonnes of grain - more than half of the planned volume has been collected in Turkmenistan, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported on June 25.
The total area of the country's grain field is 860,000 hectares. More than 2,000 "Claas", "Case", "John Deere" and other harvesters are involved in the harvest campaign.
The hard work of harvesting began earlier this month.
Turkmenistan managed to collect 1.6 million tonnes in 2013 or by 400,000 tonnes more than in 2012. Turkmenistan started exporting surplus of food grain in 2010.
