The US embassy in Ashgabat together with the Turkmen government and the Turkmen-American Business Council are holding the seventh annual Turkmen-American Business Forum, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported Jan. 21.
The forum brought together speakers from the academic and industrial circles, as well as representatives of the governments of the US and Turkmenistan to discuss the issues of agriculture, use of water resources, innovation technologies and the financial sector at the expert level.
The Turkmen-American Business Forum 2015 offers the US participants the opportunity to continue developing the relations with the Turkmen government and representatives of local businesses, as well as to get more information about the business prospects in the country.
The representatives of two US universities, as well as 35 US companies and organizations are attending the forum. During the forum, the participants will have three discussions on innovative technologies in industry and agriculture, as well as the role of finance in economic development.
