Turkmenistan's President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov has received the chairman of the Belarus National Assembly Mikhail Myasnikovich in Ashgabat, said the message from Turkmen government.
The sides discussed the implementation of the large joint infrastructure project - construction of Garlyk mining and processing plant for producing potash fertilizer in Koytendag district of Turkmenistan's Lebap province which is known with its richest potash deposits.
During the meeting, Myasnikovich said that Belarusian partners will make every effort to ensure high quality work in this important industrial facility, which is a symbol of mutually beneficial interstate cooperation.
Belarusian Belgorkhimprom open joint-stock company has been constructing the Garlyk enterprise since August 2009. Its capacity will be 1.4 million tons of fertilizers per year.
