Turkmenistan’s national air carrier Turkmenistan Airlines (Türkmenhowaýollary), starting from Dec. 14, 2016, will carry out regular passenger flights on the route Ashgabat-Kazan-Ashgabat on Wednesdays and Sundays.
It was previously reported that it is also planned to launch flights to Tehran and Milan in the near future.
The biggest international airport of Central Asia was put into operation in September 2016 in Turkmenistan’s capital. The new airport is able to take aircraft of any type and capacity. The capacity of the ultra-modern air harbor is 1,600 passengers per hour and 14 million per year.
