Uzbek ambassador to Luxembourg with residence in Brussels Bakhtiyar Gulyamov handed over his credentials to Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Jahon news agency at the Foreign Ministry reported.

Uzbek ambassador to Luxembourg with residence in Brussels Bakhtiyar Gulyamov handed over his credentials to Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, Jahon news agency at the Foreign Ministry reported.

During the conversation held within the ceremony, the sides discussed state and prospects of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Luxembourg in the political, trade and economic spheres, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The sides stressed the great potential for further deepening and boosting mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as enhancing cooperation in various spheres.
Grand Duke Henri expressed his sincere wishes for prosperity and success to the Uzbek people.

In early February, Uzbek ambassador to Belgium Bakhtiyar Gulyamov also presented his credentials to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

As it was previously reported, the Uzbek Senate (upper house of parliament) appointed Bakhtiyar Gulyamov as the country's ambassador to Belgium in December 2009. In early March 2010, Bakhtiyar Gulyamov presented his credentials to Albert II, King of the Belgians.
