Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Nov 12 / Trend D.Azizov /

Legislative (lower) Chamber of the Uzbek Parliament has adopted the law on "Operational Investigative Activities", said the press service of the Parliament.

The draft law has been developed in response to the Concept of further deepening of democratic reforms and formation of civil society in the country, proposed by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov in November 2010.

The operational investigations have been regulated by different regulations such as government regulations and departmental documents.

The draft law includes the principles and forms of operational-search activity, legal guarantees of the rule of law, which will organize the existing rules and will help to secure the protection of rights and legal interests of citizens, as well as further democratization of the judicial system.

When this draft law comes into force it will enhance the quality of preliminary investigation and will improve the work on prevention and prompt suppression of offenses.

The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber and submitted for discussions to the upper house - the Senate of Oliy Majlis.
