In recent years the frequency of violations of Uzbekistan's state border by Kyrgyzstan's border guards increased, a report of the press service of the State Border Protection Committee of National Security Service of Uzbekistan said.

"Uzbek border guards found four Kyrgyz border guards of Deres frontier post of Jalalabad Civil Defense State Border Unit of Kyrgyzstan's State Border Service in the territory of Uzbekistan, in Sasiksay township owned by M.Baltabaev enterprise, on July 23, at 09:30, the report said.

Kyrgyz border guards did not leave the territory of the Uzbekistan and used weapons against Uzbek border guards despite of their repeated demands and warnings on violation of state borders and entering into Uzbekistan's territory.

As a result, junior sergeant R.Tolipov died from his injuries at the scene. Another soldier, private under contract T.Juraev was taken to the Central Regional Hospital of Uychi district of Namangan region with severe gunshot wounds, his state is serious, and he is being operated on.

Cartridge cases of Kyrgyz border guards' bullets and traces of blood of Uzbekistan's border guards were found at the scene, which is located 100 meters from the state border line in the territory of Uzbekistan.

In connection with this, the Committee for State Border Protection of National Security Service of Uzbekistan urges the Kyrgyz side to give an explanation on the fact of armed entering and use of weapons on the territory of Uzbekistan, as well as the behavior of the Kyrgyz border guards, the report said.
