Saudi Arabia's Deputy Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Tarada al-Sadun, who is on a working visit to Uzbekistan, met with Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov.
Saudi Arabia's official delivered an invitation to the Uzbek side to take part in the upcoming first session of the Economic Forum entitled "The Arab League - Central Asia + Azerbaijan" in Riyadh in May.
The two sides discussed the prospects of developing the bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic, investment and other areas, as well as cooperation as part of international and regional organizations, the Uzbek foreign ministry reported.
The proposals for holding the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation were considered at the meeting.
Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Uzbekistan Abdurahman bin Abdulla ash-Shae attended the meeting.
