Durbek Amanov, who was appointed Uzbekistan's Ambassador to Switzerland with headquarters in Berlin, has presented his credentials to the President of the Swiss Confederation, Didier Burkhalter.

Swiss president praised the Uzbek-Swiss relations in political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, Jahon news agency under Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry said on July 7.

He pointed out that the two countries have great potential to expand the mutually beneficial cooperation.

Durbek Amanov, born 1965, also serves as Uzbekistan's ambassador to Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic.
