Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov discussed bilateral cooperation with his Spanish and Slovak counterparts, Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported on Sept. 26.

The meetings were held within Kamilov's visit to New York, where he arrived to participate in the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.

Within the meeting with Spanish Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, the parties discussed relevant issues of the Uzbek-Spanish cooperation and the implementation of the agreements reached during the exchange of visits of foreign ministers in November 2013 and April 2014.

The ministers also exchanged views on some international and regional issues of the UN General Assembly's agenda.

During the meeting with Slovakian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak, the parties exchanged views on a number of issues of bilateral Uzbek-Slovak cooperation and cooperation within the international organizations, as well as the Uzbekistan-European Union dialogue.

Ministers stressed the mutual interest in further expansion of relations in the politics, economy, trade, tourism and other areas, and paid special attention to the prospects for increasing of trade relations and joint investment projects. The parties also discussed a number of international issues.
