Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov and Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders discussed the development of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres, cooperation in Uzbekistan - EU format.

These issues were discussed during the Uzbek delegation's visit to Brussels, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

The sides exchanged the views. This confirmed the mutual interest in further intensification of the Uzbek-Belgian dialogue.

The sides also stressed the significant potential for expanding the mutually beneficial cooperation, especially between the business communities, representatives of large and small businesses of the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Uzbek delegation headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the chairman of the House of Representatives of Belgium, Siegfried Bracke. The prospects of the Uzbek-Belgian inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed.
