Uzbekistan announced competitive bidding on the contract № SRV/ W/18R to construct a water pipeline from the Sirgali water intake to the Okchangal village (28 kilometers) in the project area 8, Syrdarya region.
The pipeline will be built within the framework of the project "Improvement of water supply in district centers and villages of Bayaut, Khavast, Mirzaabad, Sardoba, Akaltyn areas of Syrdarya region", co-financed by the International Development Association (IDA, part of the World Bank).
Biddings will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank's International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures "procurement of goods, works and non-consulting services under IBRD Loans and IDA credits and grants by World Bank's borrowers".
Participants can obtain additional information from A. Anvarov, the head of the Coordination Group for the World Bank's projects, Uzkommunhizmat agency and inspect the bidding documents from 9:00 to 18:00 (UTC/GMT+ 5 hours).
