Uzbekistan plans to export products worth $10.8 billion in 2017, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during a meeting of the country’s Cabinet of Ministers.
He demanded that the members of the Uzbek government implement the agreements on supply of products totaling $7.7 billion concluded in 2016.
The export of fruits and vegetables is another objective of the export capacity building, said the Uzbek president.
“We need to more actively continue the work to find new markets in Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Belarus, as well as other countries,” Mirziyoyev noted. “At the same time, it should be noted that the instruction to establish such cooperation with Bulgaria brought no results.”
