Net profit of Uzbekistan’s Uznefteprodukt JSC, calculated in line with International Financial Reporting Standards, amounted to 58.298 billion soums in 2016, reads the company’s report published on the Uzbek single portal of corporate information.
The company’s net profit in 2015 was 7.259 billion soums. Thus, the net profit of Uznefteprodukt JSC grew eight times in 2016.
Uznefteprodukt JSC, a subsidiary of Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz national holding company, is engaged in processing of hydrocarbons and manufacturing of oil products.
The report said the results of activity of Uznefteprodukt JSC in 2015, including the company’s net profit, have been recalculated. Earlier, the company’s profit, calculated in line with the IFRS, amounted to 388.013 billion soums for 2015.
The company’s gross profit from the sale of its products increased by 3.9 percent to 1.423 trillion soums, its profit from operating activities increased by 69 percent to 222.729 billion soums, and financial expenses grew by 3.9 percent to 161.235 billion soums.
The company’s profit before tax amounted to 70.989 billion soums in 2016. This exceeds the company’s profit before tax for 2015 by 10.4 times.
