Three foreign journalists arrested during public rallies in Iran on the National Day of Combating International Imperialism on Nov. 4 were released, Tehran Prosecutor General Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi said, Irna reported.
According to reports, the journalists, including one Canadian and two German citizens, were arrested for working without journalist accreditation. The agencies and television channels for which these journalists work were named.
Jafari said that one of the detainees is Iranian journalist working for France Press Agency.
The decision on him will be taken after receipt of a response to a request sent to the agency in connection with the provision of necessary documents.
