Speaker of Serbia parliament called for more cooperation between Tehran and Belgrade in political, international, economic, and parliamentary fields, Irna.ir reported.
Ms. Slavica Dukic Dejanovic, in her meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Belgrade Abolqassem Delfi on Friday, referred to the rich culture and historical background of Iran and said Serbia is determined to develop bilateral relations.
Pointing to the role of parliaments in deepening ties, she called for more meetings between the parliamentarians of the two countries.
Iranian ambassador, for his part, said Iran is also willing to have constructive relations based on mutual interests with Serbia.
