Iran tests anti-aircraft radar installations

Iran tested anti-aircraft radar installations during military exercises this week, the Fars news agency reported.

The three-stage, five-day defense maneuvers dubbed "Modafean Aseman Velayat 3" began on Nov.15 and are attended by the Iranian armed forces.

During the test, the anti-aircraft missiles were designed to destroy the virtual enemy fighters. Radar installations produced in Iran were directed to detect unmanned aircraft and identify the origin of their flights.

According to the agency, radars, "Casta", "Nabu", "Kashev 'and' Matla-e Fajr" are manufactured in the country and successfully passed all tests.
