Iran and Tajikistan discussed possible prospects of cooperation at a business meeting in Dushanbe on Thursday, CA-News quotes the Tajik Chamber of Commerce as saying.
"Attracting Iranian investors in Tajikistan's energy sector and tourism industry, possible joint ventures and construction of sky-scrapers and roads were discussed at the meeting as well", the source said.
The source said the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Sharif Said informed the Iranian representatives about perspective projects in Tajikistan.
With regard Iranian delegation, the president of "Arnica Iqtisod Investment" Hussein Salahvarzi expressed Iranian companies' interest in partnership with the Tajik business circles.
It is expected that during the visit, Iranian delegation will visit a number of industrial enterprises in Dushanbe, and also will hold talks in ministries of agriculture, energy and industry.
