The police of Iran's Sistan & Baluchestan province has detained people responsible for the shootout that took place several days ago in Zahedan city, province's deputy police department head, colonel Ali Izadi said.

The police of Iran's Sistan & Baluchestan province has detained people responsible for the shootout that took place several days ago in Zahedan city, province's deputy police department head, colonel Ali Izadi said, Mehr reported.

Izadi noted that the investigation on the shootings still continues, and added that the reason for shootings were personal contradictions.

On Nov. 2, masked men on motorcycles opened fire at pedestrians on Zahedan city in Iran's Sistan & Baluchestan province, injuring four people.

Less than 24 hours after the incident, two more masked men again opened fire and wounded two pedestrians in the same city, Ehtemad Newspaper reported.

According to reports, shooting took place at the Shahid Mazari street. Using Kalashnikovs, the masked men wounded two pedestrians, who were later hospitalized.
