Deputy Commander of the Iranian Police Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan said on Tuesday that those involved in Sattar Beheshti's death are accountable, IRNA reported.
Speaking to reporters, he said a special team has been formed to follow up the case.
The special team is to study domestic and foreign aspects of the case to identify the real culprits who are held accountable.
Expressing regret over the death, he said the police command will not take hasty measures in dealing with the issue.
