Sixth airlines and aviation exhibition has opened at Iran's Kish Island, Fars reported.

Iran's Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi attended the opening of the exhibition, that would last from December 11 to December 14.

The exhibition is being held with participation of both domestic and foreign companies, as well as various military attaches from foreign countries.

During three days, the exhibition would feature Islamic Republic's latest achievements and developments in the aviation industry.

Kish is resort island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the Hormozgan Province of Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centres, tourist attractions, and resort hotels.
