The organization's report provided latest statistics on accident-related deaths in this country, noting that within the first seven months of this year, the most deaths were recorded in September (177), and the least in March (109).

The report said that in the last 10 years, some 9,625 people died due to various work-related accidents. The highest rate with 1,507 people was recorded in 2011, and the lowest of 461 was recorded in 2002.

Speaking of the reasons for accidents, the report said mostly the accidents occured due to falling from heights, being hit with objects, electrocution, burns, lack of oxygen.

Most accidents occured in the Tehran, Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi provinces. The least amount of deaths were recorded in Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Zanjan and South Khorasan provinces.
