Iran plans to issue a legal complaint to Hollywood for portraying distorted information in films against the country, Fars news agency reported.

Isabelle Coutant-Peyre, a French lawyer, who arrived in Tehran last night, upon an invitation from Iran's Hollywoodism conference members, to speak about the legal aspects of the case.

Coutant-Peyre, according to Fars, is known for defending the rights of the Palestinian people, and has agreed to talk over the legal aspects of a complaint that Iran plans to issue towards Hollywood.

After the release of an Oscar winning, Ben Affleck-directed film "Argo", about the escape of the U.S. hostages from Tehran during the Islamic Revolution, Iran has expressed negativity towards the film, claiming it was not accurate in portraying historic events.

Iranian officials in February dismissed "Argo" as pro-CIA, anti-Iran propaganda.
