The earthquake in Iran leaves 37 dead.
There are 200 houses destroyed in Shonbeh village. Altogether, it is noted that more than 700 houses are destroyed, and numerous number of houses are severely damaged. 850 people were injured, Mehr news agency reported.
Turkey Committee of the Red Cross announced its readiness to provide assistance to Iran, the report said.
The president of Iran Mahmoud Akhmedinedzhad expressed condolences to the Iranian people in connection with the earthquake and urged all the services to start rescue operations.
