Iranian president Hassan Rouhani has criticized the security atmosphere which exists at Iran's universities, Iranian State IRINN TV reported.

He made the remarks during the inauguration ceremony of the universities` new education year.

He also underlined that only law not pressure should be dominant at the university. Rouhani said that his administration will not permit some circles to impose pressure on universities.

Hassan Rouhani went on to say that Iran needs "science diplomacy."

"I call all security entities including the Ministry of Intelligence to open the way for development of this diplomacy," Rouhani said. "Trust in universities and its teachers."

Further on, Rouhani spoke of globalization, adding that Iran should believe in globalization.

"We rely on ourselves but don't forget the importance of the correlation and coexistence with other countries," Rouhani noted.

He also went on to say that during the Iran's last presidential election moderation and hope defeated extremism and hopelessness.

He underlined that his administration will use this opportunity for resolving the country's problems.
