Iranian police have arrested a 16 year old hacker in Isfahan, the Isfahan Chief of the Cyber and Information Exchange Police (FETA), General Sattar Khosravi said, Asriran news portal reported.

Iranian police have arrested a 16 year old hacker in Isfahan, the Isfahan Chief of the Cyber and Information Exchange Police (FETA), General Sattar Khosravi said, Asriran news portal reported.

Khosravi went on to note that, the teenage hacker, named Arash had used fishing techniques to hack Yahoo accounts.

Arash sent personal e-mails out of curiosity about the contents of individual emails, the police chief stated.

More than 200 e-mail addresses have been hacked by Arash, he added.

Earlier, Iran's cyber police chief Kamal Hadyanfar said that Iranian cyber police will enlist white-hat hackers to help fight cyber criminals.

Hadyanfar noted that many hackers have expressed an interest and willingness to cooperate with police, adding that the cyber police will have "zero tolerance" for cyber criminals.
