Kuwaiti citizen Adel AlHaval has been released from Iranian prison, and sent back to his homeland on Dec. 1, ISNA news agency reported on Dec. 2.
The detained AlHaval was sent to Kuwait from Iran's Shiraz city, in presence of general council of Kuwait Sad Alhaceri.
AlHaval told journalists that he was arrested upon his arrival in Shiraz, on charges of espionage, although he was a tourist. AlHaval was first arrested on Oct. 31 in Shiraz.
It should be noted that Iran's foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif participated in a meeting of a joint Iran-Kuwait economic commission in Kuwait on Dec. 1, where he said that Iran's foreign ministry will do its best to get the Kuwaiti citizen released as soon as possible.
