Iranian Deputy foreign minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian said here Friday the terrorists who assassinated the Iranian diplomat Martyr Abolqasem Assadi have been identified, IRNA reported.
"Further details about the matter will be offered to the Iranian nation, hopefully soon," said the deputy foreign minister on the sidelines of a commemoration service in Tehran for the martyred diplomat.
He said that the finding was by the joint committee commissioned the job, adding that after more precise research the name of the country involved in the assassination of the Iranian diplomat, too, will be announced publically.
Amir Abdollahian said that the investigation committee is pursuing its job seriously and as soon as they will come up with definite results, the names of the terrorists and the involved factors will be announced.
He said that a foreign country has been involved in the assassination, whose name will be announced after collecting of sufficient documents.
Abolqasem Assadi, 45, Iranian economic attaché to Yemen was assassinated lat Saturday, January 18th, after he resisted the terrorists' intention to kidnap him in Sana'a.
