An earthquake measuring 3.7 on Richter scale jolted surrounding area of Baba-Monir in Fars Province on Sunday evening, IRNA reported.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 21:39 hours local time (18:09 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 30.00 degrees latitude and 50.86 degrees longitude and in depth of 12 kilometers underground.
There is no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
