The visit of Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshiyar Zebari to Iran has been cancelled, Iranian ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaifer said, ISNA news agency reported.
Danaifer said that Zebari's visit to Tehran has been cancelled in connection with some administrative procedures and developments in Iraq.
"The visit will take place next week," Danaifer said.
Iranian media reported this morning that Hoshiyar Zebari was to pay an official visit to Tehran.
It was reported that during the visit the Iraqi foreign minister would discuss the issue of development of bilateral relations, as well as the processes in the region and in the world with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and other officials.
