Commander of the Army's Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan once again reiterated the high preparedness of Iran's Armed Forces, and warned the enemies against any possible adventurism, IRNA reported.
"The Armed Forces have high-level of preparedness and if they commit a mistake they will receive a heavy slap on their face," Brigadier General Pourdastan said, addressing a ceremony in Mahabad city in northwestern Iran.
The Army's Ground Force commander said that the Iranian Armed Forces have all movements of the enemies under their control and they are aware about all capabilities of the enemies' forces.
In mid-February, Lieutenant Commander of Basij (volunteer) Forces for Operations Colonel Nosratollah Seif lauded the Iranian armed forces for their rapid move towards progress, and said that the countryˈs military power has grown 100 times more than its capabilities during 1980-1988 Iraqi imposed war on Iran.
ˈIranˈs military might has witnessed a 100 times growth in comparison with what existed during the 8 years of the Sacred Defense,ˈ Colonel Seif said.
He noted that Iranˈs Islamic Revolution has now turned into the biggest challenge for the world superpowers.
