The IAEA Deputy Director General for Safeguards Tero Tapio Varjoranta would arrive in Tehran on Monday for talks with Iranian officials on easing the remaining concerns on the country's nuclear issue, ISNA reported.
"Tapio Varjoranta will step in Tehran on Monday at top of a delegation for talks with officials of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) on Tuesday under the new round of cooperation between Iran and the IAEA to remove some concerns and remaining ambiguities," said the AEOI Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi.
He further said that technical and expert talks between the two sides are scheduled for Tuesday, adding, "Iranian and IAEA officials' talks will last for one day to conclude 13 measures that Iran has carried out in different forms for cooperation with the IAEA."
The Iranian official noted that Iran's cooperation with the IAEA over last 6 months to end concerns included two phases with the first one had 6 steps and the second one included 7 steps.
He further added that the IAEA should release a report evaluating the measures soon to pave the way for cooperation in the future.
