Iran and Armenia have agreed to raise the number of flights between the two countries by 17 times.
Iranian and Armenian aviation officials signed a memorandum of understanding in Yerevan to increase the weekly flights from 3 to 50, Iran's Tasnim news agency reported on May 25.
Mohammad Saeid Sharafi, Civil Aviation Organization of Iran's Director for Legal Affairs, said the MOU will pave the way for Iranian and Armenian travel agencies to boost activities and services in a competitive environment.
