Iranian MP, Alaeddin Boroujerdi said that Tehran as one of the biggest victims of terrorism will be hosting the second international conference on Syria on June 1.
Boroujerdi said heads of foreign policy commissions from 25 countries will attend the conference of 'Friends of Syria', Iran's IRNA News Agency reported on May 31.
"The gathering is meant to help end the conflict in Syria and establish peace and security there," he explained.
The head of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission further blamed Washington and its allies for supporting terrorists in Syria.
"Terrorism has now become a serious and potential threat to many countries, especially in Europe and America," he said.
Boroujerdi added that the U.S. strategies in Syria have all failed.
