Iran's nuclear issue will be resolved just through negotiation, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani said in a press conference in Iran.

It is clear for all that the Islamic Republic of Iran is serious in the negotiations, Iran's ISNA news agency quoted Rouhani as saying on June 14.

Even if the two sides do not come to terms in the ongoing negotiations, the situation in the past will not be repeated, Rouhani said.

Iran has broad trade relations with the world. The U.S. knows it well. However, the dispute could be resolved through good will and constructive discussion within five weeks, he added.

On April 29, Rouhani said he was not pessimistic about a final agreement with the P5+1 on Tehran's nuclear energy program, stressing the Islamic Republic would never succumb to pressure and bullying.

"...I am not pessimistic about the negotiations, but reaching a final agreement at the end of a six-month period depends on whether or not the opposite side is ready for proper interaction," Rouhani said.
