Iran's foreign trade amounted to $24.245 billion in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 - June 20).

Iran Customs Administration's latest report suggests that the figure shows 27 percent increase compared to the same period of time previous year, Iran's Fars News Agency reported.

Iran's non-oil exports accounted for $11.859 billion of the mentioned amount, which is 20.53 percent more than same period previous year.

The country also imported $12.386 billion worth of goods in spring, which is 35.63 percent more than last year.

According to Iran Customs Administration, the country's total non-oil exports to foreign countries (excluding gas condensates) stood at $31.332 billion in the previous year (which ended on March 20), while the country's total imports amounted to $50.818 billion.

The figures mark annual trade balance of -19.486 billion dollars for Iran.

Iran's annual trade turnover is projected to reach $160 billion by the end of the fifth five-year development plan (March 2016).
