Iran's Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sorena Sattari reviewed problems on the way of Iranian knowledge-based firms in Turkmenistan markets with President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
During the meeting with the Turkmen Presidnet, he outlined Iran's scientific and technological achievements, Iran's IRNA news agency reported Aug. 22.
Sattari also voiced Iran's interest in further expanding fruitful and constrictive ties with Ashgabat.
Berdimuhamedow, for his part, said that given the capacities of the two neighboring and friendly countries, they can act as economic complementary to each other.
They also reviewed problems facing the Iranian knowledge-based companies to enter Turkmen markets.
During his visit, Sattari also hold separate talks with the country's foreign minister and vice president for scientific and sports affairs as well as vice president for commercial and economic affairs.
Current developments and prospects of Tehran-Ashgabat relations were at the focus of discussions.
Referring to Iran's achievements in the fields of science and technology, Sattari also voiced Iran's readiness to export technological products to Turkmenistan.
