Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Moscow early Friday morning for talks with Russian officials, IRNA reported.
Zarif is scheduled to meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and some other Russian officials and exchange viewpoints on regional developments, including Syria, Iraq, and Gaza, bilateral relations, and Iran-5+1 Group (UN Security Council Big 5 and Germany) nuclear talks.
Zarif had on Thursday morning left Tehran for Ankara to attend the swearing-in ceremony of President-Elect Recep Tayyip Erdogan, after which he left for Moscow.
