The 3rd session of Iran-Qatar Joint Political Dialogue, headed by two countriesˈ deputy foreign ministers Abdollahian and al-Rumaihi was held at Iranian Foreign Ministry Wednesday, IRNA reported.

Hossein Amir Abdollahian and Muhammad Bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi in the session reviewed the latest status of bilateral relations, surveyed strategies, and made new proposals for their further expansion.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the Iranian President Hassan Rouhaniˈs last year proposal at the UN General Assembly, World against Violence and Extremism (WAVE), the two sides emphasized that exchange of ideas and joint problem resolving in research and scientific institutes, including joint panel discussions, aimed at full implementation of that proposal, aimed at holding dialogue on moderatism and campaign against extremism were necessary.
