It is planned to explore new prospects for cooperation between Iran and Azerbaijan during the Azerbaijani Economy and Industry Minister Shahin Mustafayev's visit to Iran, IRNA news agency said Sept. 15.
Mustafayev is accompanied by a delegation of representatives of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's Supreme Assembly, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), the ministries of foreign affairs, transport and emergency situations, and Azerenerji JSC.
During the visit, the parties will discuss the implementation of the agreements reached at the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Iranian intergovernmental commission on economic, trade and cultural cooperation.
They will also discuss preparations for the Iranian president's official visit to Azerbaijan, scheduled for autumn this year.
Mustafayev will also get acquainted with Iran's industrial facilities.
The Economy and Industry Ministry of Azerbaijan told Trend Sept. 16 that the delegation's visit to Iran will last two days.
