Iran has exported some 11.365 million tons of mineral outputs worth more than $1.2 billion over the first five months of the current Iranian year (started on March 21), Irna reported referring to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

According to the ministry, Iran also exported 11.914 million tons of industrial goods valued at $5.44 billion in the five-month period.

Liquefied propane, methanol, liquefied butane, hematite, products driven from iron or unprocessed steel, Portland cement and urea were among the main Iranian exported commodities.

Most of the products rose in terms of value compared to the preceding period, the ministry said.

China, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates were the main three destinations for Iranian commodities respectively.
