Iran's Bushehr port exports over $8.11 billion of non-oil goods

Some 15.952 million metric tons of non-oil goods worth of over $8.11 billion have been exported from Iran's southern Bushehr province in the first six months of the current calendar year (March 21 - September 22).

The figures show 9 and 57 percent increase in terms of value and weight, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on October 6.

Petrochemicals, chemicals, fisheries, agricultural products, minerals, construction materials, and cement were the main exported items.

The United Arab Emirates, India, China, Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Australia, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia were also the main importers of Iranian goods.

Some 687,000 metric tons of goods worth of $165 million were also imported to the country via the Customs Administration of the Bushehr port in the mentioned period.
