Land prices in Tehran fall by 10% in spring

Land prices in Tehran fell by 10 percent in spring 2014 compared to spring 2013, the Statistical Center of Iran said.

The center said that each square meter of land was dealt at 44,104 thousand rials in spring, showing a 3.8 percent rise compared the previous season and 10.1 percent fall compared to spring 2013, Iran's Mehr news agency reported on October 10.

The number of land dealings through real state agencies in Tehran rose by 8.1 percent compared the previous season and dropped by 8.1 percent compared to spring 2013.

The highest and the lowest prices of land in Tehran were 87,878 thousand rials and 14,966 thousand rials, respectively.
