A Japanese bank has established relations with the Iranian banking sector, helping Russia to sell goods to Iran, Iranian deputy industry minister Mojtaba Khosrotaj stated.
The bank opens LCs for the two sides to carry out commercial transactions, Iran's Mehr news agency quoted Khosrotaj as saying on October 15.
He did not disclose the name of the Japanese bank.
"Iran and Russia have agreed to start preferential trade and facilitate the visa issuance procedure for traders of the two sides," he noted.
