The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has named two Iranian experts for the first time as its inspectors.
Hassan Khoshkhoo and Amin Mirjavadi have been appointed to carry out periodical inspections from ICAO member countries, Iran's IRNA news agency reported on November 26.
ICAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations. It codifies the principles and techniques of international air navigation and fosters the planning and development of international air transport to ensure safe and orderly growth.
