India is ready to invest in Iran's rail projects. Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Minister of Railways of India, announced that the country welcomes boosting cooperation with Iran in the transport sector, Iran's IRIB reported on November 29.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister Abbas Akhoundi in New Delhi.
Indian companies are ready to invest in the expansion of infrastructures and manufacturing wagons in Iran, the Indian minister said.
