Iranian Vice President and Head of the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization Masoud Soltanifar traveled to Germany on Monday to visit the 49th ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin), IRNA news agency reported Mar. 2
The Iranian official is scheduled to meet German statesmen, including the German parliament's tourism committee as well as top officials of ITB Berlin.
He will also attend the exhibition's opening ceremony, which is to be held on Tuesday, and will also meet and talk to the guests visiting the country's booth at the exhibition grounds on Wednesday evening.
A number of big Iranian tourism companies are attending ITB Berlin which will be open from Mar. 4 to 8.
The high-profile exhibition is expected to host around 160,000 guests, among them 110,000 travel and tourism experts.
