Meanwhile, Tatar president said his country would like to increase trade exchanges with Iran, adding that Tatarstan is a hub of oil and industry in Russia.

He said Tatarstan has capacities in oil extraction, machine building, ship building, technology parks, robot industry, and bio-technology, which can make opportunities for more cooperation with Iran.

President Minnikhanov said Kazan is a great center of education in Russia and over 180 thousand students are studying in Kazan universities of which some are Iranian.
