Iran’s 4-month gas condensates export down 40%

A recent report shows that during the first four months of the current Iranian fiscal year (which started March 21), Iran’s export of gas condensates suffered a great deficit compared to the same period of the preceding year.

A recent report shows that during the first four months of the current Iranian fiscal year (which started March 21), Iran's export of gas condensates suffered a great deficit compared to the same period of the preceding year.

The export of gas condensates stood at 7,448 thousand metric tons and was worth $3,211 million, an August 1 report by Iran's Customs Administration said.

The numbers had been 7.883 thousand metric tons and $5,298 million for the same period last year.

This shows that in the current year the export of gas condensates lowered by 5.51 percent in weight and 39.39 percent in value.

Also, petrochemical export stood at 8,171 thousand metric tons worth $4,696 million.

For the preceding year the same period the numbers had been 5,895 thousand metric tons and $4,688 million.

Therefore, the numbers of this year grew by 38.62 and 0.16 percent respectively.
